Monteblanco BSB test: O'Halloran enters 2020 injury-free

McAMS Yamaha's Jason O'Halloran has been through a long and painful rehabilitation after breaking his shoulder in the middle of the 2019 Bennetts British Superbike season but goes into tomorrow's Monteblanco test injury free.

The Australian, who goes into his second year with the team, has already ridden the 2020 YZF-R1 but not in full Superbike trim until pitlane opens tomorrow morning in southern Spain.

"I've been counting down to this moment through the winter. Last year was tough with breaking my shoulder in the summer, but that injury is now fully healed and I have been working really hard over the winter to get myself in the best possible shape," said O'Halloran.

"Winter testing went really well for us last year, so I'm hoping to hit the ground running and find the form I was in early last season. The key for me will be to just keep doing laps over the week in Spain, the more the better.

"The new bike seems to be a step forward too so I'm looking forward to trying it out. 2020 is a big year for me."
