Morbidelli expecting new parts for Sepang MotoGP test

Petronas Yamaha MotoGP rising star Franco Morbidelli is expecting a raft of new parts for the February test in Sepang and says he can't set objectives until those have been evaluated.

Morbidelli was at the sharp end of the winter test timesheets after switching away from Honda to the M2 - which he says is much easier to ride - but has no targets as yet for the upcoming season.

“I think it is still too early to set our objectives, we have to wait and see how the next tests go in February and March. We are expecting new material for the next tests so we’ll have to try them out and see how we get on. Once preseason is over we will have a good idea where we can expect to be in the Grands Prix," said the Italian.

“We still need more laps to understand perfectly how and what I need to change about my riding style. I think it will be a natural process, which we will take step by step, to see what I need to go faster.”
