MotoGP Austria: Dixon again hit by rear tyre vibration

Britain's Jake Dixon had to content himself with a top-20 finish at the Red Bull Ring after he was again hampered by rear tyre vibration in the Moto2 clash.

Dixon suffered the same issue at Brno last weekend and said it was all he could do to finish. The team will have to find a cure for the chatter issue before Dixon's home GP at Silverstone in a fortnight.

He also missed a session due to problem with the Triumph engine's throttle bodies.

“We had the same problem as Brno, with a big vibration from the rear tyre. I don’t know how I managed to finish the race because I was right on the limit," said Dixon.

"It is something we need to fix for Silverstone and hopefully improve the bike in other ways, like we did under braking here. We have had one less session than everybody else here so I couldn’t do much more. I gave everything I had in that race.”
