MotoGP Austria: Dixon pushing podium form in victory hunt

Aspar’s Jake Dixon arrives in Austria full of confidence after consistent Moto2 podium form of late.

Standing on the rostrum on either side of the summer break, Dixon now has a trio of third places under his belt for 2022 but his hunger for that elusive debut win is yet to be satisfied.

Seventh in the intermediate class standings by round thirteen, the GasGas rider has a new title sponsor for the Speilberg round, in the form of Zinia, and his eyes on the podium once more, even with the new addition of a turn two chicane to familiarise himself with first.
 
“Step by step we are constantly fighting for the front positions,” Dixon confirmed of his 2022 progress. “We finished the first half of the season on the podium in Assen, we returned to competition on the podium in Silverstone, and in Austria we want to fight again for a great result.

“The objective will always be the victory, and for this we will work tirelessly from the first free practice session.”
