MotoGP Qatar: Dixon expecting tough race

Britain's Jake Dixon will start tomorrow's Qatar Moto2 race from 30th on the grid after a tough weekend so far in the desert.

Dixon is struggling with setup at Losail and ended his day in the qualifying one session with a 2'00.951 but fully believes progress is being made with the Nieto KTM.

“It has been difficult coming here, with things going on with the bike that is not quite how I want it to be," said Dixon.

"It is only the first round and there will be plenty of improvements as the year progresses. The team are doing everything they can, we’re trying to understand everything, and KTM are fully behind me.

"It will be a tough race tomorrow but I will give it my best for me, my team and everybody around me and hopefully we can pick a few positions up.”
