Repsol Honda are back to full strength at this weekend's Silverstone MotoGP but returning rider Jorge Lorenzo has warned it will take time for him to get back to full speed.
The Spaniard has been absent since fracturing vertbrae in a crash at Assen. He says the objective for this first weekend is reacclimitise to the RC213V and assess his level of performance after missing substantial track time.
“It is very good to be back with the Repsol Honda Team, it has been a long time since Assen. I would have liked to have been back sooner, but the nature of the injury meant I had to take my time," said Lorenzo.
"While away from the track, I have been working hard to be as ready as possible for Silverstone but I know it will take some time to get back up to speed.
"I am pleased and ready to be back with the team so we can keep improving and get the results we know we can achieve.”
