Sterilgarda Max Racing’s John McPhee heads to his home Grand Prix this weekend as Moto3 action returns from the summer break to Silverstone.

With some well needed time off to fully recuperate after a difficult start to the 2022 season, McPhee is ready to race his Husqvarna in front of the home crowds as the British Grand Prix kicks off the second half of the year.

“I’ve had a very enjoyable summer break,” McPhee said from the UK track. “Some more time off which was needed for my back injury and then time to train solidly to get my fitness back to a strong base.

“First race back being my home GP in Silverstone is always special. The home fans turn up the atmosphere to be a great weekend, so I can’t wait to kick off the second half of the season.”
