Australian ace David Johnson is another rider who finds himself very much at the crossroads after Monday’s announcement that the 2021 Isle of Man TT Races have been cancelled.

Third place finisher in the 2019 Superstock TT and winner of the Classic Superbike TT race held later that year, Johnson was due to ride for Rich Energy OMG Racing in 2020 and now has a number of decisions to make and situations to resolve as he explained to bikesportnews.com from his Australian home.
 
“It’s not very good news at all for me. One full year here in Australia was sort of good in a way and being with Rich Energy OMG Racing and having them support me the whole way was awesome for this year but for next year it’s taking the piss a bit," said Johnson.

"It’s definitely going to affect my whole way of life for 2021 as it’s effectively my job that’s been taken away.
 
“It’s my main race for the year and now that it’s not happening, I’ve no idea what’s going on or what’s going to happen. Like I say, it’s not the best news for me so we’ve just got to make a plan to try and work things out.
 
“I’ve spoken briefly today to Alan, the OMG Racing team boss, but we’re going to speak again at length tomorrow to make a plan which will, hopefully, be a plan I can be involved with.

"I just need to try and hold my head up high and carry on. It’s a massive kick in the nuts as it’s my job and now I effectively don’t have a job. I’m going to have to work stuff out but that’s how it is.”
