No Superbike wildcards at Donington WorldSBK round

British fans will have to be content with the not inconsiderable number of regular British riders at this weekend's Donington WorldSBK round as there will be no wildcards.

Rumoured appearances from Be Wiser Ducati riders Josh Brookes and Scott Redding turned out to be just that as team co-ordinator Johnny Mowatt told bikesportnews.com this morning that it had been discussed but no firm plans had ever been made.

Tommy Bridewell, who has twice ridden for the Go Eleven Ducati team this year, will be testing at Suzuka - with team-mate Bradley Ray - with the S Pulse Suzuki team in readiness for the end-of-month Japanese classic.

However, both Integro Yamaha riders Jack Kennedy and Brad Jones are both set to star in the WorldSSP race on Sunday at Donington Park.
