Offer moves into WorldSSP300 with Scuderia Maranga

British teenager Indy Offer will move into the WorldSSP300 series next year after signing to ride with the Scuderia Maranga Kawasaki team.

Offer made his WorldSSP300 debut at Magny-Cours this year with the team, after a positive test at Magione - becoming the youngest British rider to ever compete in the series - and was quickly able to conclude negotiations to remain with the Italian squad following the event.

“Firstly I’m so happy to be able to race full time with Scuderia Maranga. From the very first test we had a good feeling together,” said the 16-year-old.

“They are a very professional team; they believe in me and have everything in place for me to learn in my first full season of World Championship racing.

“I met Jarno for the first time at Eicma on Saturday and we got on really well. I know Borja from when I made the wildcard in France so I think we will have a really good feeling inside the team.

“I have only ridden Donington and Magny-Cours so there’s a lot to learn but the team are putting together a really good testing programme and I’ll have a bike to make my own private tests too. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this happen. I will give it 100 per cent.”

Offer contested the 2019 British Junior Supersport Championship, achieving a best result of sixth at Thruxton, after overcoming multiple technical problems that prevented him from showing his front running pace more regularly.
