Our Chief has gone

This is the one story I hoped I never had to write but it is with great sadness we confirm the passing of our Chief, David Miller.

David had been battling cancer for the past few years and unfortunately passed away on Thursday afternoon due to unforeseen complications. He was surrounded by his loving family throughout and will be deeply missed by all those he worked with across the paddocks. He leaves behind his beautiful wife, Danielle, and three children Lleyton, Lawson and Arya.

His passion for anything two wheels led to the acquisition of Bike Sport News in 2008, and while his take was often unique compared to the majority of outlets it’s a passion we will endeavour to maintain in his honour.

On a personal note, David had supported and championed my career since my first foray into the World Superbike paddock back in 2010. He was always around to keep an eye on me, give advice - often alongside his typically very sarcastic but well-meaning comments - and ultimately a full time job with BSN in recent years. He was someone who I have always held a great deal of respect for, was a kind and supportive boss and I will be forever grateful for his guidance and friendship over the years.
