Puccetti’s Fores sets podium goals for 2020 WorldSBK season| WorldSBK staff | WorldSBK
Puccetti Kawasaki new-boy Xavi Fores has set himself a target of regular podium finished on his return to the WorldSBK circus in 2020.
Fores spent last year wrestling a Honda around British Superbike circuits and is this year joined by long-time HRC man and highly-respected crew chief Chris Pike.
“2020 will be an important season for me and my team, in which we need to build on the good work of last year. During the Jerez test I was able to see how the ZX-10RR suits my riding style,” said Fores, speaking at the team launch.
“There is still a lot to do of course, but we made a good start and will continue on this path at the Portimao test. My goal is to fight for the podium in every race, not an easy task but I’m sure that if me and the team work hard, we can achieve great results.”
Fores steps into the shoes of Toprak Razgatlioglu who took the team and ZX-10R to the independent team championship in 2019.
