Redding taking Cadwell Park 'one step at a time'

Former MotoGP star Scott Redding will have to narrow his vision for this weekend's Cadwell Park Bennetts British Superbike round as he changes from the wide open tarmac of Thruxton to Lincolnshire's narrow ribbon.

Redding has done a trackday at the Louth circuit but is yet to experience it, and the famous Mountain where team-mate Josh Brooks thrills the crowds, on his Be Wiser Ducati Panigale V4.

“Cadwell is a totally different prospect to the last round at Thruxton, going from the widest on the BSB calendar to the narrowest but I’m confident I can get my head around that quickly," said Redding.

"I’m looking forward to racing there, it looks great fun and I know the crowd will be massive. I did a track day earlier in the season and really enjoyed it so I feel we can be strong.

"But as normal it will be one step at a time, work on the details and get comfortable on the bike and then press forward to try to fight for podiums."
