Rich Energy to title-sponsor British Mini Bikes in 2020

Rich Energy has signed to title sponsor the British Mini Bike Championship when the season begins in mid-July.

The energy drink firm already has an association with motorcycle racing with the Rich OMG BMW British Superbike team and is now expanding its operations.

As part of the deal, there will be opportunities for young riders to visit the VisionTrack Michael Laverty Academy and also support from BSB riders Luke Mossey, Hector Barbera and Billy McConnell.

“We are delighted to become the title sponsor for the British Mini Bikes Championship. The BMB provides a fantastic platform for riders of all ages to get out on track and feel the thrill of competition, working alongside initiatives such as the VisionTrack Michael Laverty Academy, we’re also looking to the future and hope to see top racing talent finding its feet here,” Rich Energy’s Alan Lowe told bikesportnews.com.

“The UK has produced some immensely talented motorcycle racers over the years, and the Rich Energy British Mini Bike Championship is looking to encourage riders of all ages to get on the track and push each other to their full abilities.

“As we discovered when we became the title sponsor of the OMG Racing British Superbikes team, the racing community is a tightly-knit family. We’re continuing to invest into making this fantastic sport accessible at every level and to interlace the Rich Energy brand of premium performance with this two-wheeled racing family.”
