Rossi set to change MotoGP crew chief for 2020

Valentino Rossi will split with current MotoGP crew chief Silvano Galbusera at the end of this season with SKY VR46 Moto2 man Davide Munoz replacing him.

Galbusera was wheeled in from the works Yamaha WorldSBK team when Rossi dispensed with the services of Jerry Burgess and now he will have another new chief mechanic for 2020.

"Is true, next year I will change my chief mechanic. After Misano race, we speak together with Silvano because we want to try something for be stranger," said Rossi, speaking at Buriram.

"It was different factors together. Also, Silvano want to continue to work for Yamaha and to try something with a bit less stress and days out of Italy.

"At the same time, Yamaha want to make the test team stronger for improve the work. Speaking together, we will change. Silvano will go to the test team and I will have Davide Munoz who this year is with Bulega."
