Snetterton BSB: Kent fired up for MV Agusta debut

Former Moto3 World Champion Danny Kent is in for a baptism of fire at this weekend’s Snetterton Bennetts British Superbike round but is fully up for the challenge.

Kent hasn’t had the opportunity to fully test the ex-Leon Camier F4RR he will contest for the rest of this season but will use the Norfolk race weekend as a data gathering exercise in preparation for the remainder of 2019 with the Bike Devil MV Agusta UK Racing squad,

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend at Snetterton,” said Kent. “Unfortunately we haven’t been able to test the Superbike but still I can’t wait to get out there and start learning.

I rode a 600cc here couple of weeks ago and I love the circuit and can’t wait to get started on Friday. Big thanks to Bike Devil Insurance and the whole team for getting this project together in such a short amount of time.”

Team principal Dave Tyson is equally fired up and can’t wait for free practice one on Friday.

“It has taken a lot of hard work, sweat and some tears to get where we are but as soon as Danny and the Bike Devil MV Agusta UK Racing F4RR roll down that Snetterton pitlane, it will have been worth it.

“It is going to be something of a baptism of fire and there is absolutely no pressure on Danny this weekend. This really is a test in a race situation and the only things we need from this weekend are laps and data.

“I must say a big thanks to everyone that has got us here but especially to Sweda in Australia and to Robert at Bike Devil for having faith in our abilities.”
