Tarran Mackenzie and Joe Francis have been ruled out of the rest of this weekend's Bennetts British Superbike action after heavy crashes in qualifying.

Lloyd and Jones Racing's Francis dumped his BMW on the very first flying lap of Q1 while Mackenzie binned his McAMS Yamaha at Seagrave after clocking the 15th quickest time of the same session.

The pair both sustained left wrist fractures and after being declared unfit, will sit out the rest of the Thruxton round.
