Tickets for the 2020 Silverstone MotoGP are now on sale just two weeks after the incredibly successful 2019 race which saw one of the closest race finishes in MotoGP history.
Suzuki Ecstar’s Alex Rins stole the win from Honda Repsol’s Marc Marquez on the final corner of the final lap to take the win by just 0.013 seconds in one of the tightest race wins ever seen in MotoGP™. Throughout the weekend riders were full of praise for the brand new surface laid at Silverstone and lap times and racing lap records were smashed in all classes.
The 2020 race will again be held on August Bank Holiday weekend, 28 – 30 August*. This year’s event combined great racing, great weather, a host of record lap times and fantastic off-track entertainment and live music. Plans are already underway to make the event even bigger and better for 2020.
Tickets are now on sale and cost from just £20 for a Friday ticket with weekend tickets starting at just £75. Children 10 and under go free (general admission tickets).
Silverstone will be announcing information about the full weekend of off-track entertainment nearer the time but will be building on the success of award-winning band Clean Bandit and hugely-popular Toploader who headlined the Saturday and Sunday evenings this year.
