Spanish Elvis Jordi Torres has confirmed he will remain with the Pedercini Kawasaki team for WorldSBK 2020.

The former Moto2 star says he is pleased with the relationship and how the team is taking big strides forward.

"Pedercini and I are going to be together, because I am very happy with them and I hope they are very happy with me," said Torres.

We are taking leaps and bounds forward. This year we have started a project from scratch, and it is a very nice road, I am very comfortable here, they’re lovely people and it works very well. We have a lot to do if we want to reach a certain level, but they are logical steps and I am very happy to grow with them.

"This year we have started a project thinking about working for next year. For the next rounds, our idea is to be much more competitive and always be in the top six or seven in a normal way, which is not a matter of luck.

"For this to happen, the team has to work with a material that must arrive in due time. And we must be prepared professionally and organisationally to keep up. It is a matter of time before this arrives, it will be sooner or later, but it is nice to see how the project is flourishing and to be involved in it.”
