Matt Truelove will make his 24-Hour endurance debut at the Bol d’Or after getting a call up from British-based ADSS 97.
With the FIM Endurance World Championship’s season finale coinciding with the 100th Anniversary of the iconic French race, Circuit Paul Ricard will see Truelove get his first taste of 24-hour competition in fine style this weekend.
Joining Chris Platt and Jon Railton in the privateer Kawasaki Superstock squad, Truelove has already undertaken a test on the team’s practice ZX-10RR with Tuesday presenting his first opportunity to tackle the full EWC spec bike.
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity,” Truelove said on the approaching event. “It all came together quite quickly but when I got the call from Chris Platt at ADSS and he explained everything that it involved, I jumped at the chance.
“It’s my first real time on a Kawasaki, it will be my first time riding at night and of course my first 24hr race, I can’t wait!”
