Tonight’s opening 2019 Isle of Man TT practice has been cancelled due to bad weather on the mountain.

Clerk of the course Gary Thompson issued a statement in the middle of the afternoon, saying the practice would instead be run tomorrow afternoon, starting at 1.30pm.

“Tonight’s first practice is unfortunately cancelled due to adverse weather conditions,” said Thompson.

“Low cloud and mist is affecting the TT Course and is unlikely to improve. Tonight’s practice will be held tomorrow afternoon.”
