Monster Yamaha's Maverick Vinales looks likely to try a version of Duati's holeshot device at the Sepang MotoGP test in order to improve his starts.
The Spaniard, who fell away in the opening stages of some races in 2019, has acknowledged that his starts are poor and will try 'something new' in Malaysia.
"Usually our bikes are very good in qualifying. Always in the front row or in pole position. In the race we had difficulties on the first lap, so we had to improve the start," said Vinales.
“We are fast on many tracks. I think our chassis is fantastic. Our maximum speed is not the best, but we can manage it. In my opinion the most important thing is the start.
"The start is very important, because all Yamahas lose a lot at the start. In Malaysia, we will try something new for the start."
