Scott Redding and Chaz Davies were both multiple race winners as was Sam Lowes in the Moto2 World Championship whilst John McPhee joined them in the Moto3 category with victory in San Marino.
At home, Glenn and Andrew Irwin took a combined four victories in the British Superbike Championship although it was Christian Iddon who was the best Brit in the series in third overall.
He was also a race winner as was Tarran Mackenzie whilst Rory Skinner was undoubtedly the star of the year as he took ten of the 12 race victories in the British Supersport Championship.
