Vote for your 2021 BSN British rider of the year

While MotoGP was missing full-time British racers in 2021, the national pride was alive and kicking across the remaining classes and championships, so who ends the year with your vote?

In Moto2 Sam Lowes claimed six pole positions and five podiums, including three victories, on his way to fourth overall while Jake Dixon enjoyed a brief foray in the Premier Class alongside the departing Valentino Rossi. John McPhee stepped into Dixon’s place for his own mid-season promotion before returning to Moto3 to secure his debut podium of the year at COTA.

While Jonathan Rea battled once again for WorldSBK honours, Scott Redding kept him honest throughout on the Ducati, Chaz Davies bowed out on an impressive career and Alex Lowes defied a season of injury. With no representation in Supersport, Tom Booth-Amos flew the flag in the WorldSSP300 class to much success as the Brit claimed second overall despite missing out on three races due to injury.

BSB saw Tarran Mackenzie crowned the hero on the 25th anniversary of his father Niall doing likewise, while Tommy Bridewell and Christian Iddon put up determined fights till the end. Prevented from his usual excursion on the roads, Peter Hickman completed the year fifth in the British championship with Danny Buchan and Glenn Irwin joining in on the showdown action as 2021 concluded.

Nail-biting finishes across the year brought all-out action for 2021, but who gets your vote for BSN British rider?
