William Dunlop will spearhead Tyco Suzuki’s opening Irish roads effort at next month’s Cookstown 100 but could face a challenge from ever-improving Manxman Dan Kneen.
Dunlop had just finished a shakedown test at Cartagena and will race alone as team-mate Guy Martin is away on Bol d’Or World Endurance duty over the April 25 race weekend.
“The Cookstown is always a great event to start the season at and after a couple of tests recently in Spain, I’m really looking forward to making debut there with Tyco Suzuki,” said Dunlop, who will race in Supersport and Superbike.
Kneen is a high-profile newcomer to the Orritor Circuit, but should be well in the mix on the Cookstown B.E. Racing Superbike and Supersport machinery.
