Aruba.it Racing has revealed its machine for the 2024 WorldSBK Championship season as Alvaro Bautista targets a third straight title alongside new team-mate Nicolo Bulega.
The Italian team romped to its third straight title in 2023 on the back of Alvaro Bautista’s record-breaking campaign that yielded 27 victories from 36 races.
For 2024, the factory outfit retains a familiar look as it enters into a ninth season with telecommunications company Aruba.it as title backer.
Having confirmed he will continue with Ducati for at least one more season as he eyes up a third consecutive title win, Bautista will be joined by WorldSBK newcomer Nicolo Bulega, who steps up to the Superbike class for the first time after enjoying a similarly dominant campaign in WorldSSP.
“Ducati has a great history towards beauty and design; design’s always been a very important element but it’s even more important today - beauty fills our hearts,” said Ducati Corse CEO Claudio Domenicali
"We were Champions last year in MotoGP™ and WorldSBK. This is something unprecedented as no company has won MotoGP™ and WorldSBK two years in a row, so I think this is a goal that needs to be consolidated.
"The question might be ‘how can you do even better this season?’.”
Ducati is the most successful manufacturer in WorldSBK history, amassing 16 titles since the series’ inaugural season in 1988.
