Dean Harrison took victory in today’s Manx Gas Solo Championship race at the 2017 Southern 100, beating Dan Kneen to the line by just more than a tenth of a second while Michael Dunlop took third and was only another four-tenths further in arrears.

Harrison added the Solo title to the Supersport race honours he took earlier in the day, beating Dunlop by three-tenths of a second with James Cowton in third place.

Dunlop, however, bagged top spot in the Senior race beating Kneen’s BMW by a second with Jamie Coward in third place.
