RAF Reserves Kawasaki Showdown contender Jake Dixon will be fit to compete at this weekend’s Assen MCE British Superbike round after a a Moto2 testing crash.
Dixon was with Triumph at Motorland Aragon testing the new Moto2 engine when he had a spill but after some checks and scans in hospital he was said to be OK. The youngster was at Donington Park today at a No Limits trackday, making sure he is full fit to race.
“Jake was testing with Triumph and had a bit of a roll around but is brand new now, so it’s all good,” team boss Lee Hardy told bikesportnews.com this afternoon.
