Assen BSB: ‘No plans for two-man team’ - Hardy

Lee Hardy says he has no current plans to run a two-man team in the MCE British Superbike series, preferring to focus on Jake Dixon for 2018.

Hardy re-signed Dixon a couple of weeks ago and will run under the RAF Regulars and Reserves banner. Hardy said he would also like to keep Jordan Weaving on a Superstock 1000 Kawasaki too.

“At the moment no, it is not something we are looking for. We spoke to many different riders, don’t get me wrong and we have talked to a lot of people in the paddock because obviously we need to understand where we are and what we are going to do as a team but at the moment we are going to go ahead with what we have got - one Superbike,” Hardy told bikesportnews.com

“That may change, there could be options there. I am meeting with Briggs and the RAF before we go to Assen and there could be change but at the moment the goal is to run one Superbike. We would like to keep Jordan Weaving on the Superstock machine.”
