This year’s Isle of Man TT double winners Ben and Tom Birchall have been voted Sidecar Team of the Year by bikesportnews.com readers.

The pair dominated on the Mountain Course this year, bouncing back from a crash in 2014 to win both races and their performance netted them 25.02 per cent of the reader vote. Second place went to Bennie Streuer and Geert Koerts, Sidecar World Champions this season. They took 20.20 per cent of the vote.

British F1 Sidecar pairing Steve Kershaw and Robin Wilson were third after their third place on the domestic scene. Brit F1 Champions Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood came in fourth with 10.57 per cent while British F2 Champions Alan Founds and Tom Peters completed the top five with 9.26 per cent of the votes polled.
