Be Wiser Ducati’s Shane Byrne has been passed fit to ride by medical staff today, and will compete in the second MCE British Superbike round at his local track of Brands Hatch.
The reigning champion had to miss the opening round at Donington Park after a big crash during the warm up session. The Panigale racer was diagnosed with concussion and had to miss both races.
His rival, JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Leon Haslam did the double at Donington and now has a 50 point lead over Byrne in the overall standings, but the Ducati rider will be on the grid at the Indy track this weekend.
More when we get it.
