Andrew Irwin’s one-place penalty for overtaking under stationary yellow flags in the Snetterton Dickes British Supersport feature race has been upheld by stewards today.

The Gearlink Kawasaki rider was judged at the time to have passed Jack Kennedy on the entry to turn two and the MCRCB judicial panel, after reviewing all available TV footage and ‘newly acquired and authenticated footage filmed by a spectator on the banking’, has confirmed the initial penalty.
