British Supersport star Estment to contest 2017 Suzuka Eight-Hours

Dickies British Supersport star Bjorn Estment will contest the 2017 Suzuka Eight-Hours as he teams up with Sheridan Morais and Brandon Cretu in Team Rabid Transit.

The trio rode together at the Oschersleben Eight-Hour last month and finished a creditable tenth in the EWC Superbike class and will move on to the iconic Suzuka event at the end of this month on a Yamaha R1 which is supported by YART and running Bridgestone hoops.

While in Suzuka the team will be showcasing some of the latest in live biometric technology through their partners Transitive Technology, Dell, Intel, Bodycap and Zephyr.

“Firstly a massive thanks to Team Rabid Transit for the opportunity of a lifetime to compete at the iconic 2017 40th Anniversary Suzuka Eight-Hours. This is a dream come true for any rider. I can’t wait to get to Japan and back on the stunning Yamaha R1 I gelled well with at Oschersleben,” said Estment.
