Chalk Racing’s Tom Neave clinched his third victory from four races, in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 class at his local track of Cadwell Park.
It was a case of double trouble as Neave was chased hard by his twin brother, Tim. But in the end Tom won with an advantage of 3.8 seconds. It was the race winner who had the hole-shot, with Appleyard McAdams Brad Jones hot on his tail.
The battling duo edged away from the rest of the field and Neave set a new lap record in the process. But the joy was not to last for Jones as he crash whilst in second and with the Stalbridge rider out of contention for the win it paved the way for Tom Neave to march on.
Meanwhile twin Tim was able to hold off the advances from BWSR’s George Stanley to nab second. Allied Racing’ Dan Stamper is still the current championship leader and he finished the race in seventh.
Finishing ahead of Stamper was Mission Racing’s Jordan Gilbert and Ryan Vickers who completed the top five. Team Sandown’s Robert Kennedy was sixth. Bradley Perie, Mark Clayton, and Ben Luxton were the top ten finishers.
