Cadwell BSB: Staying with a similar bike setup from 2015 aids Mossey

Quattro Plant Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey and his team made minimal changes to his ZX-10R and kept a similar setup from when they were at Cadwell Park last year, and their strategy paid off as the Cambridgeshire rider lapped a 1’26.690 to go second fastest, in the second MCE British Superbike free practice session.

Mossey is feeling confident that he can bag another rostrum and is ‘feeling good’ ahead of the double header on Bank Holiday Monday. His team did not take part in the recent tests at the track, but he knew that he had the pace to be competitive today.

Meanwhile, even though Mossey is in high spirits over his good form he was still surprised that he ended the afternoon P2 on the timing screens.

“We were not at the test last week so to end up P2 was a bit surprising. I knew I had the pace and the bike has been working well all year and we have come in with a good set up from last year and a same sort of settings,” said Mossey, speaking to bikesportnews.com at the track.

“We were lucky with the weather today, Monday is looking good and fingers crossed I am feeling good. Hopefully we can keep these rostrums going and our main aim is to make the top six and we know who we need to beat this weekend.”
