Can Go Eleven throw Laverty an Aprilia WorldSBK lifeline?

Eugene Laverty might be thrown a WorldSBK lifeline if Go Eleven boss Gianni Ramello can reach an agreement to run Aprilias for the 2019 season.

The Noale manufacturer has apparently slashed the cost of renting its RSV4s and might well throw in rider Lorenzo Savadori as they did with SMR for the past two seasons.

It means that Laverty could remain on the bike he has been championing for the past two seasons but in the hands of a different team.

Go Eleven have had several unsuccessful seasons with Kawasaki and Ramello says he needs to change but he also says he wants to see how Roman Ramos might fare with a different manufacturer…
