Da Costa stands in for O’Halloran at Oulton BSB

Honda Endurance team leader Julien Da Costa will stand in for the injured Jason O’Halloran at the upcoming Oulton Park MCE British Superbike triple header.

The triple Endurance World Champion is contracted to be a reserve rider for the Honda BSB team and is no stranger to the British Superbike championship after competing with MSS Kawasaki in 2009. Da Costa was also a wildcard entry for four rounds last year on the Fireblade.

“I’m really looking forward to coming back to BSB again; it’s just a shame that it’s in the circumstance it is with Jason being injured. Oulton Park is probably one of the most difficult circuits in the championship, so I know it won’t be easy but I will do my best for Jason and also the team. I think we can use the opportunity to try some different settings and continue the development work of the Fireblade,” said the Frenchman.
