Elliott back with Tyco BMW in Superstock at Snetterton

Josh Elliott will be back with the Tyco BMW team at Snetterton’s MCE British Superbike round for another Pirelli Superstock 1000 crack.

Elliott returned for what looked like a one-off appearance at Knockhill a fortnight ago but secured a strong fifth place in the opening race at the Scottish venue so team boss Philip Neill decided to continue the relationship this weekend.

“I really enjoyed being back in with the Tyco boys at Knockhill and despite Sunday maybe not going according to plan in race two, I was pretty pleased with my pace not having ridden for almost eight months in Saturday’s race,” said Elliott.

“I have great memories from Snetterton, where I secure one of my best ever wins in the class, ironically in my championship season in 2015, beating Alastair Seeley on the Tyco BMW after a last lap battle – so I’ll be traveling to Norfolk, aiming to push the Tyco BMW close to the front, where the goal will be to fight for the podium.”
