Former Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Champion Keith Farmer will return to the class in 2018 after signing a deal to ride for Tyco BMW.
Farmer last rode in the litre-bike class in 2016 but is looking forward to going back with the factory-backed squad.
“I am really, really looking forward to it. Last time I was in the championship I was on a lesser machine but now joining Tyco BMW with Phillip and Hector, it should be a lot different and I can’t wait to get the season underway with some good testing first,” Farmer told bikesportnews.com at Motorcycle Live.
“I think will do some early testing just to get used to the bigger bike again and then go to Cartagena for the full test and the full team.”
