Tyco BMW’s Tommy Bridewell has completed his first shakedown laps on the S1000RRs he will campaign in this year’s MCE British Superbike Championship.

Bridewell joined a host of Superbike riders on track at Cartagena’s Prto-Test this morning including Jameses Ellison and Westmoreland, Danny Buchan, Chris Walker and Jakub Smrz.

“I have found this morning really good, the bike is mind-blowing, absolutely just a dream. I knew it was going to be good and that we would be strong and competitive but I didn’t quite realise the bike was going to be as strong as it is at this stage. We are so early in development that when we get to round one, we will have made a massive step again. I am feeling so happy and comfortable on the bike that I am so happy,” said Bridewell.
