Race promoter and trackday organiser Hottrax Motorsport has ceased trading today and all future events on its calendar have been cancelled.

A statement from boss Dave Mabbutt reads:

It is with great regret and sadness that Hottrax Motorsport Racing Club Ltd announce that we must cease trading as of 29th May 2015. After taking advice from our financial advisors it has become apparent that we cannot meet our financial commitments. The Directors have no choice but to cancel all future events and place the company into liquidation.

We are very sorry for the people who have put their trust in us this year and in the past, the meetings we have run have been special and we have made some lovely friends during the past 9 years.

Our thanks go to the officials and marshals who have given up their time, mostly free of charge, to help us run meetings for everyone’s benefit and enjoyment.
