Former Thundersport RRV450 star Trystan Finocchiaro will join the WorldSSP300 horde at this weekend’s Lausitz WorldSBK round after signing a deal with the Biretti Yamaha team.

Finocchiaro tested with the squad at the Adria circuit and equalled their best-ever time, so boss Franco Brunetti has given the Transmec Group backed rider the chance to race the rest of the 2017 events.

“I’m extremely excited about a debut on the world stage and feel motivated to bring home some results. I will use these four races to learn and prepare for next season,” he said.
