Honda Racing’s Dan Linfoot has spent the first day of testing at Monteblanco settling in to his new factory Fireblade and has got to grips with the works Honda.

The Harrogate pipe cleaner spent the day working on getting comfortable on the bike, changing seating positions, bars, pegs and the like before getting down to some proper lappery tomorrow.

“It’s been useful so far, we had a lot to do in terms of getting comfortable and getting the bike right for me. It has been a case for me of getting on the bike and adjusting things to make me comfortable with the positioning, so the pegs, the bars and things like that. In that respect it has definitely been a case of job done,” said Linfoot.
 
"It has been good to get the basics done and also for me to learn the characteristics of the Honda with the engine, chassis and brakes, but I couldn't be happier and although we have lots still to do, it has been a fantastic start."
