MotoGP Assen: Crutchlow runs HRC aero package

Britain’s Cal Crutchlow ran an HRC aero package in MotoGP free practice today at Assen for further evaluation after he tried it in Barcelona and Le Mans testing.

The LCR Honda man stated he needs more time to work with it as it has both positives and negatives, but is unsure of if it will be used again this weekend.

“We're just re-evaluating what I've already tested at a different circuit. In the Barcelona test I found some positives to it. But there are positives and negatives, and we're trying to get the positives out of it and rid of the negatives,” said Crutchlow.

"At the moment it seems a little difficult to understand. We need to maybe adjust the settings of the bike. I know it's only a fairing, but last year with the wings we adjusted the bike quite a lot setting-wise and suspension-wise. And now we maybe have to do that again, if we want to continue with it. I don't know whether we will continue with it over the weekend or not. We'll see tomorrow."
