Nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi has hailed Brno MotoGP winner Cal Crutchlow by saying the Briton has ‘arrived at a special moment’.
Crutchlow took a huge tyre gamble in today’s race, opting for hard-compound wet tyres but it paid off and he is the first winner of a premier class grand prix since Barry Sheene at Anderstorp in 1981.
“I think he has arrived in a special moment because he become a dad so great congratulations to him and to all his family,” said The Doctor.
“I said to Cal great congratulations at the circuit because I am very happy for him because he is one of the funniest guys of MotoGP and we have a good relationship.”
