Oulton BSB: Kennedy takes third straight Supersport pole

Jack Kennedy stormed to his third pole position on the trot this season as he dominated this afternoon’s Dickies British Supersport championship qualifying.

The current points leader could have taken pole after setting a 1’37.932s just three laps into the session, but he and Ben Currie kept pushing the pace to go even faster.

Gearlink Kawasaki’s Currie slotted into second early on with a 1’39.044s as James Rispoli followed just a few tenths behind, but Jamie Perrin nipped third from the Everquip Racing rider ten minutes in.

The order shuffled behind, but it was always Irishman Kennedy out front as the only rider in the 1'37s, with German-born Australian Currie just behind.

James Westmoreland took third to complete the front row beside his team-mate, while Rispoli heads up row two ahead of Integro Yamaha’s Brad Jones and EHA Racing’s David Allingham.
