Crash protection specialist R&G Racing have signed up to be title sponsors for this year's Suzuki GSX-R Trophy, the British one-make series designed to develop rider skills and encourage new talent to begin road racing.
 
Now called the R&G Racing Suzuki GSX-R Trophy, the championship was created in 2007 by the UK’s motorcycle racing governing body, the Auto Cycle Union (ACU), to offer a competitive and unrivalled cost effective solution to racing on Britain’s circuits.
 
Thanks to massive support from the Suzuki dealer network, participants in the ten-round series are offered a GSX-R600 at a heavily reduced price whilst stringent regulations, such as control Dunlop tyres, also help keep costs down.
 
R&G Racing was born out of the passion to protect the bikes of those who push to the limits and, consequently, its diverse range of crash protection can be seen on road racing and supermoto bikes in every paddock across the UK and Ireland.
 
This sponsorship deal presents the Trophy with an enticing prize fund allocation along with giving R&G a chance to put something back into British road racing.
