Rossi confirms 2016 YZR-M1 tested at Motorland Aragon

Movistar Yamaha’s Valentino Rossi has confirmed today that he and team-mate Jorge Lorenzo debuted the 2016 YZR-M1 during their test at Motorland Aragon but used Bridgestone tyres and not Michelins.

Both Rossi and Lorenzo used the bike and said that is was better in some areas but they would not be able to use it this year.

“The main reason for test is to try the new bike for next year. The Japanese want for me and Jorge to try the bike and make some kilometre because usually we test in Brno on Monday but there was rain so before send back the new bike to Japan, they want to make some kilometre and to have some feeling between me and Jorge about the bike,” said Rossi, speaking at Misano.
