Multiple North West 200 winner Alastair Seeley has signed to ride for the Gearlink Kawasaki team in the Supersport class at this year’s event and will race alongside Ben Wilson.

Seeley has won 15 North West 200 races and will be hoping to extend that tally in 2016 while Wilson will make his second appearance at the fantastic Northern Ireland road racing circuit.

“I’m very happy to be riding for the family team of Michael and Norma at Gearlink Kawasaki again, plus back working with my former crew chief Arron Phillips,” said the Carrickfergus man.

“I hope we can start where we left off at the NW200 in 2013, where I won with them. As the bike model hasn’t changed for a number of years, hopefully I can just dial in my previous settings and be good to go from the start.

Anything I’ve asked for the event this year, Michael has agreed and assures me that we will have strong motors, which I’m buzzing about.”

It is not yet confirmed with which team Seeley will contest the Superbike and Superstock races but strong rumours put him with the RAF Reserves BMW squad.
