Aruba Ducati’s Chaz Davies could miss the upcoming Portimao WorldSBK round following a Supermoto crash yesterday.
The Welshman fell and aggravated his already injured collarbone, spending the night in hospital.
“Chaz crashed and spent the night under observation with a keen eye on the recently injured shoulder,” said Ducati’s Luca Semprini.
“Further checks will be run today but for now we need to wait and run more checks.”
4pm update: “Further checks evidenced a very small fracture in the right collarbone. Davies will undergo a CT scan in the near future to verify whether or not surgery is needed. At any rate, we're hopeful about the chances to participate in the Portimão round,”’said Semprini.
